Barb Hopkinson of the Women’s Resource Centre met with the Sparks, Brownies and Guides, along with their leaders, last week. She was there to collect food and gently used books the girls donated to the centre’s lunch program. Hopkinson also told the girls about the program. At the same gathering, held Feb. 25 at Northminster Memorial United Church, the girls celebrated Thinking Day, a time to think about other children, and the meaning of Guiding and its impact.Kelly Oswald
