Dear Local Residents: It is with great sadness that Super Thrifty Drug Mart will be closing its doors as of November 7, 2003. Super Thrifty has been serving Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, Cranberry Portage and area for the last 30 years, and Lavitt's for many years before that. According to local archives there has been a pharmacy at our location site since the late 1920's. The partners of Super Thrifty have come to this difficult decision due to major changes in the Flin Flon retail scene and unfortunate change in our customers' shopping habits. We would like at this time to thank all of you for your patronage over the last 30 years. It has been a privilege to serve you and be part of this community. To our many loyal prescription customers, all of our prescription files will be transferred to Pharmasave on Main Street for your convenience. To the many organizations in the area that we have contributed to financially, we wish you the best in providing services to the people of Flin Flon and area. To our staff, past and present, we thank you and wish you all the best in your future endeavours. In closing, please remember to support your local businesses who support the local community.
