Obituary - the late Candace Gail Danielson Candace Gail Danielson was born Tuesday, January 29, 1974 at Flin Flon General Hospital, Flin Flon, Manitoba, beloved daughter of Ken and Jean Danielson. Candace was raised in Cranberry Portage, attending Frontier Collegiate, graduating in 1992. She also attended Yellowquill Collegiate in The Pas and attained a certificate as a Diabetes Worker. Candace truly loved playing bingo and loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting. Candace passed away suddenly, Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Cranberry Portage, Manitoba, age 32 years. Candace leaves to mourn: her father, Ken Danielson (Gaile), her mother, Jean Danielson (Gerry); her partner, Philip Richot; her children, Jeffery, Justice, Jordain, Jay Cee, Jessea; brothers, Richard (Clarissa), Derrick (Olivia), Donnie (Marika); Daniel "Buggy" (Celina), Sheldon; grandfather, Dick Danielson; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and other relatives. Candace was predeceased by her grandparents, Lillian and Dave Brightnose, Elsie Danielson. A wake service was held Friday, June 9, 2006, at the Cranberry Portage Legion Hall. The funeral service was held Saturday, June 10, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at the Frontier Collegiate Auditorium, Cranberry Portage, Manitoba with Pastor Bill Lothian presiding. Music Ministry: Bernice Hay, OCN Singers, and South Indian Lake Singers. Family Memories: Chris Baker. Scripture Reading: Bob Hay. Pallbearers were Richard Danielson, Donnie Danielson, Derrick Danielson, Tannis Geddes, Daniel "Buggy" Danielson, Blair Lundie, Donnie Edwards, Charity Gamblin. Honourary pallbearers were Pierre Saultier, Jim Elder, Therese Clauveau, Ed Brightnose, Clint Danielson, Shirley Prieston, Jessica Marcellais, Debra Sinclair, Lorraine Thomas, Canadace Ledoux, Muriel Nepinak, Clarissa Danielson. Ushers were Robbie Baker, Justin Brightnose, Jeff Brightnose, Alfred Brightnose. Following the interment prayers at the Cranberry Portage Community Cemetery, a reception was held at the Cranberry Portage Elementary School Gymnasium.
