We will sadly miss our mom but with memories so great, laughter and happiness will overcome sorrow. She was a great lady with so much kindness and goodness it was enough to embrace each and every person she came in contact with. She was always willing to share whatever she could with those who needed help or just to share her home with others. Mom never tired of her grandchildren. They were always under foot, but not to her. She loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. She was a "people" person. In her younger days, Mom loved to play bingo, she didn't care if she never yelled "bingo" as long as she played the game. Mom had many talents; her biggest talent was to bead and create colourful moccasins and such, until her fingers could no longer hold a needle and her eyesight was gradually fading. Another pastime of Mom's was to gab on the phone with her sisters, each in turn. Her sisters will certainly miss her. Her usual first question was "Did anybody win?" Bingo, that is! There is so much more to this chapter of her life that made life so much easier for us all. Mom will have a safe journey home to our heavenly father and she has now joined our dad who she missed so terribly. We will miss her eternally but we know that her spirit will always be with us. We love you, Mom and Dad. The wake service was held Thursday, April 7, 2005, at the Cranberry Portage Arena.
