RITA JOYCE OVERLAND (BROUGH) December 24, 1941 - November 1, 2007 With deep sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Rita Overland. She was predeceased by father Lawrence Brough, nephew William Gamble Jr., partner Earnest Rathgeber. Left to mourn her passing are mother Pearl Brough, children Glenn Overland, Flin Flon, Lynda (Sean) McCallum, Gillam, Nancy (Terry) Lucier, Killarney, Richard Overland, Drayton Valley, Alta., grandchildren Justin and Connor Lucier, Patrick McCallum, ex-husband Dennis Overland, sister Beverly (Allan) Grey, Winnipeg, brother Bob (Debbie) Brough, Flin Flon, sister Corinne (Bill) Gamble, Selkirk, brother Melvin (Donnalee) Brough, St. Albert, Alberta, Ken (Janice) Brough, Flin Flon, nieces and nephews Tracey and Bryan Gamble, Brent, Devin, Jocelyn Brough, Tanner (Stacey) and Tasha Brough, Adam, David, Scott and Shawn Brough, grand nieces and nephew Kate and Will Gamble, Kiana Brough, and friend Bob Fritzke. Rita grew up in Flin Flon, married Dennis Overland, moved to Snow Lake in 1967. The family lived there until 1981 when they moved to The Pas. In 1990 Rita moved to Langley, B.C., where she has resided since. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at the Elks Hall, Flin Flon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or other of your choice.
