CAMPBELL (nee Ledoux) Anita Lucille. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lucille on August 19, 2008. She was born September 1, 1922 in McCreary, Manitoba. Predeceased by her husband William Delbert in 1994, also by her brother Albert Ledoux and her sister Agnes Ewen. Lucille and Del moved to Vancouver from Manitoba over 40 years ago and settled in Richmond 15 years ago. Lucille is survived by her loving daughter Karen Sjostrom (devoted son-in-law Keith), grandson Noel (Erminia), great grandchildren Emma and Peyton. She will be forever remembered as ÒBest FriendÓ to daughter Dawn Laing and grandchildren, Melissa, Breanna and Jeffrey. Lucille will also be remembered for her love and loyalty to her siblings, sisters Evelyn Anderson, Vancouver, Bernice Thurston, Winnipeg, brother Lorne Ledoux, Surrey and their extended families of many nieces and nephews who have remained in contact with Lucille over the years. Lucille spent many hours at the South Arm Community SeniorsÕ Centre both as an ardent volunteer and enthusiastic participant of many of the programs offered. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to her many friends from the Centre who provided Mom with support in her final days. The messages of support from the extended families across Canada helped ease our sorrow. Mom bore her challenge with dignity and stoicism to the end. No funeral or memorial by request; however, it would be most appreciated if a charity is being considered that you offer a donation in LucilleÕs memory to the Salvation Army/Rotary Hospice, 6460 No. 4 Road, Richmond, B.C. V6Y 2S9 where she spent her final days in peaceful comfort in the company of her family and compassionate staff. ÒIn our hearts forever.Ó
