Edna Mildred Larson Edna was born February 28, 1914 in Melfort, SK to Richard and Eleanor Corby. The seventh of eight children, she grew up on a farm south of Melfort in the Silver Park, SK district. She married Christian Larson March 3, 1944. Edna has resided in Flin Flon since 1979. She passed away October 3, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband Chris in 1982. Also four brothers, Ken, Clarence, Harold and Arthur Corby. Two sisters, Lyda Klemmer and Mabel Edwards and her parents. Edna leaves to mourn her passing her daughter and son-in-law Christine and Eugene Schaerer. Grandchildren Deveny, Hayley and Brad Schaerer. Her younger sister Dorothy Scott and many nieces and nephews and good friends. Edna was known as Gramma Larson to a lot of people and will be sadly missed by those who knew her. Funeral services for Edna were held Saturday, October 11, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Kelley Flodell officiating. Ushers were Jerome Schaerer and Reid Schaerer. Memorial register attendants were Brenda Flodell and Shelby Flodell. Following the funeral service, a lunch was served at the Kingdom Hall. Dadson Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
