On November 9, 2003 Mrs. Ruth Stevenson of Edmonton Alberta passed away at the age of 94 years. She is survived by her loving children Robert (Jean), Karen (George) Komanac, Marion (Edward) Kowalevsky; grandchildren Kerry (Lynne), Ron, Gord (Lin), Gina, Kelly (Carl), Diana, Renay (Glenn); great grand children Chad, Robbie, David, Tim, Kenzie, Orion. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Arthur (Kelly) in December 1990. She was born in Sweden and immigrated to Canada in 1922. A life long resident of Flin Flon, Manitoba. Ruth was an active member of the North Star Rebekah Lodge and the Circle C ladies group. Ruth was well known for her hospitality at 37 Hill Street, a convenient coffee stop on the way uptown or downtown. In the summer, all were warmly welcomed to Kelly's Camp. A memorial service was held at Peace Garden Funeral Chapel in Spruce Grove, Alberta on November 13, 2003. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Diabetes Association or charity of their choice.
