Victor Farmery of Flin Flon passed away Monday, December 29, 2003 at the age of 71 years. He was born in Flin Flon to James and Christina Farmery on December 29, 1932, and attended school in Flin Flon until Grade 7. He was in charge of bundling and distributing the Free Press to all the local carriers in the late 1950's and early 1960's. He loved to go for coffee, visit with other coffee pals, watch and supervise local construction, and especially walking. He attended the Pentecostal Assembly. Victor was predeceased by his mother Christina, father James, and brother James and is survived by several cousins. Funeral services were held Friday, January 2, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Dadson Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Gold officiating. All of Victor's church, coffee and health care friends may consider themselves as honourary pallbearers. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery, Dauphin, MB. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Victor's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Room, c/o Flin Flon General Hospital Business Office, Flin Flon or to the Canadian Cancer Society, c/o Fur Keepsakes, 120 Main Street, Flin Flon.
