A holiday tradition lived on as Creighton Community School hosted the Festival of Trees last Saturday, Nov. 26.

Elegantly decorated trees, wreaths and centrepieces gave the school gymnasium a holiday décor. Several small vendors offered a range of wares while students sold baked goods.

The school was formerly a partner in the festival with Creighton’s CADAC Centre. With CADAC having folded this fall, the school took over the entire event. Proceeds will go toward playground upgrades.
