The Flin Flon School Division’s LEAP students are sending over 60 valentines to Canadian veterans this year. The cards were made by students in Grades 3 to 8 to show veterans how much they are remembered, appreciated and loved. The cards were sent through a Veterans Affairs campaign called Valentines for Vets. The valentines will be distributed on Feb. 14 to veterans in long-term care facilities across the country.
