Creighton Community School rallied together to raise $875 for the Canadian Cancer Society after one brave student put out a challenge. Grade 1 student Emma Gardiner-Long said she would cut her waist-length hair if the school could raise $300. Cosmetology teacher Tracy Hovland cut Emma’s hair during a school assembly Wednesday afternoon. Emma’s hair will be donated to a wig program.Kelly Oswald
