Isabel Frances Dunn (nee Boddy) of 22 Phelan Avenue, Flin Flon, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 82 years. She was born June 19, 1921, in Portage la Prairie to Edward Scott Boddy and Mary Roseanna Boddy (Gourlay). She received her education in Gradexi, Manitoba. She spent the rest of her life in Flin Flon after marrying Lloyd George Dunn on September 14, 1949. She was a member of the United Church. Isabel was predeceased by her son, Graham Scott Dunn; mother, Mary R. Boddy (Gourlay); father, Edward Scott Boddy; sister, Jean Webb, and brother, Jim Boddy. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Dunn; daughter-in-law, Penny (Mark) Cartier; grandson, Jason; and granddaughter, Andrea. A memorial service was held Thursday, October 16, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Ina Golaiy officiating. Organist was Sandy Ward. Honourary pallbearers were all of Isabel's friends and family. Ushers were Jason Dunn and Lyle Benson. Memorial register attendants were Kay and Bill Burbidge. Interment will be held at a later date. Following the service, the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Women's Group served lunch at the church. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, c/o Fur Keepsakes, 120 Main Street, Flin Flon or to the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 200 Whitney Street, Flin Flon R8A 0H9. Dadson Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
