SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Police in Saint John, N.B., say one man has been arrested following a shooting Tuesday in the commercial, uptown area of the city.
Police say they responded to a report of shots fired at 10:28 a.m. and found a 20-year-old man's body in a vehicle.
They say three male suspects were seen leaving the area on foot.
The shooting led police to lock down schools in the area around King's Square and issue an order for residents to remain indoors.
They say the school lockdown and shelter-in-place has been lifted.
Police called the shooting an isolated incident.
