Edmonton - Alberta Premier Ralph Klein is seriously considering calling a fall election. "I've got the burning in my belly and we want to get it done," he said. Going to the polls in the fall would save the government about $3 million because it would render two byelections unnecessary. Moreover, a fall election would also avoid possible conflicts with two big events Ð the province's 2005 centennial celebrations, and the Queen's visit. St. John's, Nfld. - The owner of Newfoundland's landmark fish and chips restaurant has vowed to rebuild after a fire destroyed the building on the weekend. The blaze broke out at Ches's Fish and Chips in St. John's Sunday afternoon. Ches's opened in 1951 and has become a landmark in the city. It operates three other restaurants in the capital region. There is no official explanation for the cause of the fire yet, but police say it started in one of the kitchens. It's suspected a frying machine caught fire. Edmonton - The RCMP are working to identify a body found Friday in the Edmonton bedroom community of Sherwood Park. The police are treating the death as suspicious, but have not yet determined the sex or age of the deceased. Over the past two years, five women's bodies have been found around Edmonton. A man walking in the wooded area near Sherwood Park found the body.
