Washington - George W. Bush hopes his visit to Canada will help him confront and confound Canadians and Americans alike who believe he's a unilateralist cowboy sneering at the world's unease over the war in Iraq. Montreal - A former Parti Quebecois cabinet minister has urged PQ Leader Bernard Landry to call a leadership race as soon as possible. Paul Begin, who was elected president of the Louis-Hebert riding association Saturday, said he is returning to politics for the same reason he left it in 2002 - because the PQ is not pushing sovereignty. Montreal - Three groups of Canada Post employees have threatened to strike during next month's annual Christmas rush. The Public Service Alliance of Canada said in a statement that 2,600 administrative, clerical and technical workers voted 73 per cent in favour of a strike that could come as early as Dec. 8. Union president Luc Guevremont said the Canada Post workers could begin with strategic strikes one region at a time.
