Saskatoon - A man in the Saskatoon area is alive thanks to a burst of strength that allowed two rescuers to lift his car off him. When Ryan Moellenbeck and Brian Argue responded to a woman's screams Sunday afternoon, they found a 27-year-old man pinned under the front of his Pontiac Grand Prix. The man had been working under the car when a jack slipped, dropping the vehicle onto his upper body. Mollenbeck says he and his friend had no choice but to lift the car. The man regained consciousness shortly after his rescue and was taken to hospital, where he's expected to recover from his injuries. The money would boost police coffers in the face of an increasing number of expensive court-approved wiretaps on drug suspects, money launderers and potential terrorists.
