Beijing - Chinese officials announced another suspected SARS case Wednesday, the same day a team of international health experts was due to arrive in the country. There are two confirmed cases and seven suspected cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome in China. All of the cases are in Beijing. Roughly 1,000 people are in quarantine after coming in contact with the suspected cases. The World Health Organization, which is sending a team of about a dozen specialists to the country, says the situation in China remains under control. Baghdad - International Red Cross officials have visited Saddam Hussein at his secret prison on the eve of his birthday. It was the second time the Red Cross has visited the former Iraqi leader. A spokesman could not say if Saddam passed any message to his family as he did the first time. Madrid - A Moroccan fugitive believed to be involved in the Madrid train bombings has been indicted on charges of helping plan the Sept. 11 attacks. According to the indictment, Amer Azizi helped organize a meeting in northeast Spain in July 2001, involving the key plotters of the attacks, including Mohammed Atta. Atta is suspected of being the pilot of the plane that hit the north tower of the World Trade Center.
