The community is getting a little greener. This week, representatives with the City of Flin Flon and Flin Flon Horticultural Society finished planting 110 trees at some local parks and cemeteries. The trees and planting materials were purchased with a $10,000 environmental grant from Manitoba Hydro. The trees, which include black spruce, maple and poplar, were brought in from Portage La Prairie. Pictured at work along Princess Blvd. are staff and volunteers.
