For 70 years the Flin Flon Rotary Club has been active in community affairs. There's hardly a project in Flin Flon that the club hasn't contributed to, and there are many which they have spearheaded. Rotary uses the Four-way Test as a method of approval for taking on new and meaningful projects: 1. Is it the truth? 2. Is it fair to all concerned? 3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships? 4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned? The Four-way Test is what keeps Rotary on the good side of every major task it takes on. Rotary is not about making money, it's about giving your time and energy to make things happen. For this reason and many others, Rotary's motto is "service above self". The club motto also represents the Rotary Club's logo. The logo contains cogs and spokes, as well as a keyway which signifies the wheel as a worker, not an idler.
