Calling all experts! Think you've got something to say? Then say it! Join The Reminder's panel of armchair quarterbacks and sideline coaches. Currently, The Reminder's sports department is compiling a list of self-proclaimed experts to discuss topics such as the Flin Flon Bombers, minor hockey, NHL lockout, upcoming Grey Cup, amateur sports, etc. As an 'expert', you will be the first to find out about SJHL trade rumours, the latest news in the NHL talks, the latest lines on the CFL playoffs and more. The panel of experts will communicate periodically via e-mail, and sometimes by telephone when things get down to the crunch. Once a week, a question will be posed to the panel, and then responses will be shared (anonymously or not, it's up to you) in The Reminder at the end of the week. To get started, I would like to ask a few point/counterpoint questions. Take a side, it is either one or the other. Then e-mail your answers to: [email protected]. This is your chance to let your voice be heard. Here are this week's point/counterpoint questions: NHL owners or NHL players? SJHL playoffs, 8 teams or 10? Tie games - shootout or no shootout? Goalies outside the crease - fair game or protected? Fighting allowed or banned? Mario Lemieux or Wayne Gretzky? Dominic Hasek or Patrick Roy? Keith Spencer or Donovan Hall? Oilers or Flames? Roughriders or Blue Bombers? CFL or NFL? Yankees or Red Sox? I know you've got opinions, I hear them every day on the streets and in the stands. E-mail me at [email protected] to join the panel today.
