The Board of Trades was established in 1929 and became a Chamber of Commerce in 1948. The Flin Flon & District Chamber of Commerce up to today has been involved in numerous projects such as the statue of Flintabbatey Flonatin, Tourist Bureau & Campground, Trade Shows, Core Business, Santa Parade, Radio Auction, Bannock Breakfast, Post Cards, Annual Gala, Flinty Coin, Flinty mascot and the Neighbours of the North Park. The Chamber has also partnered with many projects throughout the year such as the Flinty Project, Creighton Ball Diamond and the highway signs. The executives through the years have assisted in Trout Festival, Sled Dog Races, Bust the Winter Blues and RCMP Music Ride, and many more.
