But Patient Zero gave birth to an epidemic of comments that had nothing to do with the music!

Indeed, the announcement was overshadowed by fans who noted a detail on this cover which sparked an avalanche of negative remarks.

Depicting a photo of Taylor Swift wearing a black backless top and leaning against a wall, the image is said to have been awkwardly edited. Many Internet users claim that the side of the singer’s arm seems to have been “too photoshopped”.

Although comments were disabled on Taylor Swift’s Instagram post, fans were quick to express their thoughts on the photo via other social media,

“They completely erased your shoulder with Photoshop,” one fan wrote on X, adding, “I can retouch you better for free on Canvas (sic). »

“I’m so sorry, but why does the side of his arm look so badly edited?” It looks like it’s way too edited, almost AI-generated,” wrote another.

“Not to criticize, but they retouched his armpit excessively,” pointed out another.

Others ironically begged the Grammy winner to put her hand in her pocket for a better graphic designer.

“The edit on Taylor Swift’s Patient Zero cover is horrible…Honey, you’re a billionaire, please hire a professional photographer,” one fan begged.

Others insisted the image didn’t even look like the singer and questioned whether the extreme editing was a deliberate creative choice.

“Am I delusional or doesn’t that sound like Taylor Swift?” “, wrote one of them. “It’s like she’s AI-edited herself… Maybe that’s intentional.” »
