Bob Clarke and his famous LCB line are getting back together.

In the 1970s and early ’80s, opponents feared the Philadelphia Flyers’ line of Reggie Leach and Clarke, both former Flin Flon Bombers, and Bill Barber.

The trio will reunite at an alumni game between the Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins in Philadelphia on Jan. 14, Philly.com reports. The game will help commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Pennsylvania-based teams’ rivalry.

Bleacherreport.com has named the LCB line “by far the greatest of all the lines in Flyers history.”

The trio set an NHL record for goals by a single line in one season with 141 (Leach 61, Clarke 30, Barber 50), the website notes.

Clarke, 67, was born in Flin Flon and is often cited as the most talented player in Flin Flon Bombers history. He is now a senior vice-president with the Flyers.

Leach, 66, who hails from Riverton, Man., was Clarke’s linemate in both Flin Flon and Philadelphia. Last year he released his memoir, The Riverton Rifle: My Story – Straight Shooting on Hockey and on Life.
