The Flin Flon Bombers will start their next playoff series Friday night in North Battleford.

An official schedule for the Bombers' second round series was released by the SJHL Wednesday morning. Game 1 and Game 2 will take place at the North Battleford Civic Centre on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16. The series will then rotate to Flin Flon for Game 3 and Game 4 on Tuesday, March 19 and Wednesday, March 20.

If needed, Game 5 will be in North Battleford on Friday, March 22, with Game 6 in Flin Flon on Sunday, March 24 and a potential Game 7 on Tuesday, March 26 hosted by the Stars.

All games will be played at 7:30 p.m. local time, meaning games in Battleford will start at 8:30 p.m. Manitoba time due to daylight savings time.

It's the third time in the past four years that the Stars and Bombers will face each other in a playoff series. In 2016, the Bombers upset the Stars en route to a Canalta Cup final run, while the Stars would get their revenge the next season by beating the Bombers in the league finals.

The Bombers may have an advantage heading into the series, with several players either injured or suspended - forwards Chrystopher Collin and Ethan Daniels, as well as defender Calvon Boots - eligible to return. The Bombers, who finished eight points behind the Stars during the regular season, won the season series between the two teams 3-1. capping it off with a dramatic 6-5 overtime comeback win in their final matchup on Jan. 26

The Reminder will have full post-game wraps online following each Bomber playoff game.
