Don't count out the Flin Flon Bombers just yet. Flin Flon stayed their playoff execution for at least one more game with a big 2-1 OT win on home ice.

Don't let the lack of offence fool you - the game was intense from the opening whistle. No goals were scored in the first, but big hits were found around every corner. After a Stars player took a run at Bomber goalie Gabriel Waked, an unknown Bomber gave Stars netminder Joel Grzybowski similar treatment.

Garrett Johnson opened the scoring for Battlefords early in the second with a change-up shot that fooled Waked. The Stars almost held the lead for a full 20 minutes, until Caleb Moretz was sprung on a partial break and went bar-down on Grzybowski, tying the game.

Overtime was needed for the third straight game in the series. Like Game 3, it didn't take long for a hero to step forward - namely, Brandson Hein, who backhanded a shot up and over Grzybowski only 17 seconds into the extra frame to keep the Bombers in the SJHL playoff hunt.

Waked only made 25 saves but came up big when required to get the win. Grzybowski was shelled, facing 49 shots and saving 47 of them.

Elsewhere in the SJHL playoff chase, the Yorkton Terriers appear close to taking a commanding 3-1 lead on the league-leading Nipawin Hawks, leading the Hawks 4-2 in Game 4 at publishing time. Kindersley kept their playoff hopes alive Tuesday with a clutch 2-1 win against Melfort, forcing a Game 5 in Melfort Friday night. Humboldt is one game away from earning their spot in the league semifinals after beating Estevan 8-4 Tuesday. No teams will be swept in the second round this year.

The Bombers and Stars will head to North Battleford for Game 5 Friday night. If the Bombers win, Game 6 will be held at the Whitney Forum on Sunday, March 24.
