A 21-year-old female has died following a car crash in Flin Flon on Feb. 21.
Shortly before midnight, Flin Flon RCMP and Flin Flon Fire Department members responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Third Avenue. According to RCMP, the vehicle, which was driven by the 21-year-old, was heading east when it veered off the road, hit a hydro pole and rolled. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and was later pronounced dead at Flin Flon General Hospital. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Police say speed may have been a factor in the accident. An RCMP investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
