A routine traffic stop in Thompson ended with three people in handcuffs and a seizure of hundreds of illegal pills.
Thompson RCMP pulled over a vehicle on the afternoon of Feb. 22 and found a number of oxycodone pills inside. After continuing to investigate, police obtained grounds for a search warrant of a home on Juniper Drive. Police searched the home, finding more than 1,400 illegal oxycodone pills inside and assorted drug paraphernalia.
A 29-year-old man was arrested and faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with conditions.
Two others, a 48-year-old female and a 26-year-old male, were also arrested. Charges for the two are still pending.
