A search warrant executed on Hapnot Street last week ended with a number of people taken into police custody.
According to a statement issued to The Reminder by Flin Flon RCMP, officers from five separate detachments carried out a search warrant at a home on Hapnot Street Feb. 5.
Around 5 p.m., members from Flin Flon, Creighton and Cranberry Portage detachments, as well as the Thompson-based Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) and The Pas RCMP’s Police Dog Services, carried out the search.
The statement issued by the Flin Flon detachment said the search was conducted in relation to controlled drug and substances.
“Several individuals were taken into custody and the investigation is still ongoing,” read the Flin Flon RCMP statements.
No names, identifying information, charges or future court dates have been released by police. An investigation is ongoing.
