Creighton RCMP are looking for information after a series of break-ins reported in Denare Beach over the past week.

A total of nine break-ins have been reported in the area between June 23-28, mostly targeting cabins and garages. RCMP have told The Reminder that items including televisions, laptops, gas, alcohol and other items have been reported stolen in the break-ins and that all eight incidents are “believed to be related to each other.”

“We ask that residents in the Denare Beach area with any information about suspects, previous or unreported incidents, or video surveillance in the area come forward to Creighton RCMP. Seasonal cabins should be checked on,” reads a statement from Creighton RCMP.

“We’d like to remind residents to continue to take safety measures to secure valuables and lock their doors.”

Crimes reported in all area communities, including Denare Beach, typically see an increase in summer months.

Anyone with information about the break-ins or wishing to report a break-in is asked to call Creighton RCMP at (306) 688-8888.
