Pelican Narrows RCMP are looking for a suspect after a sexual assault was reported in the community early Friday morning.
Police were notified of a sexual assault April 16 around 4 a.m. and have not made any arrests as of Friday evening in the incident. RCMP have learned little new information regarding the case as of Friday night, but said in an April 16 press release that the suspect was male and likely between 15-25 years of age, dressed in black and wearing a grey sweater and a black bandana. The suspect is also described as about 5-foot-5 with a medium build.
No other identifying information or a possible identity for the suspect has been released as of Friday night. RCMP are continuing an investigation and issued a statement Friday night, in the words of the statement, "to warn the public."
