Along with the update in case numbers came new information from the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) about new preventative and precautionary measures for COVID-19. The measures include daily screenings for all SHA facility staff, doctors, trainees, contractors or any other workers to check for flu-like symptoms. Out of the 301 cases in Saskatchewan, 34 cases have been reported in health care workers.

All staff and doctors at SHA facilities will wear masks when working in or travelling through patient or resident care areas.
