Callinex Mines has found new conductive anomalies at a project near Flin Flon - and the company is now starting to drill once again.

The company first announced findings June 23, announcing results from a 2019-20 drilling campaign at the Pine Bay project site. The site is located about 15 kilometres east of Flin Flon.

Callinex’s previous drilling campaign involved nearly six kilometres of diamond drilling at the Pine Bay site, focusing on eight main target areas found through induced polarization and magnetic surveying. During the previous drill campaign, surveys done at the site using borehole pulse electromagnetic surveys found the anomalies, described by the company as “highly conductive anomalies off-hole from sulphide stringers that include copper, zinc, gold and silver mineralization” in a news release.

A new summer drilling campaign at Pine Bay was announced by Callinex July 21, this time covering 1,500 metres of drilling at the two new anomalies. The anomalies are located within the horizon of the former Centennial mine.
