Four calls for fire department, no damage in March reported

March 10, 10:41 p.m.: Motor vehicle collision 10 kilometres east of Flin Flon on Highway 10. A page was received for a single vehicle rollover 10 kilometres east of Flin Flon. Rescue One and duty officer responded. No injuries were reported.

March 11, 9:43 p.m.: Vehicle and pedestrian collision two kilometres east of Flin Flon on Highway 10. A page was received for a pedestrian struck by a passing vehicle two kilometres east of Flin Flon. Rescue One, Engine Two and duty officer responded. Pedestrian was transported to Flin Flon General Hospital in critical condition.

March 14, 4:31 a.m.: Residential fire alarm at 2 Tamarack Drive. A page was received for a fire alarm. Duty officer and Engine Two responded. Homeowner was not home and fire crews forced entry to investigate the cause of the smoke alarm. After a thorough search, no signs of smoke were found.

March 19, 10:56 p.m.: Motor vehicle collision at 7 Boam Street. A page was received for a single vehicle collision at 7 Boam Street. Rescue One and duty officer responded. No injuries were reported.

There were no losses to fire damage in March. A total of four incidents were recorded for the month. For comparison, the total number of incidents for March of last year was seven.
