A summary of police calls from Oct. 11-17, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP: Oct. 11 Report of an assault taking place at a residence. Police learned one person assaulted two others with a weapon. No serious injuries were sustained.

A summary of police calls from Oct. 11-17, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:

Oct. 11

Report of an assault taking place at a residence. Police learned one person assaulted two others with a weapon. No serious injuries were sustained. Matter under investigation.

Report of a possible impaired driver south of Flin Flon. Patrols were made but police were unable to locate the vehicle.

Report of an intoxicated person urinating on a post, then playing with a bird feeder. Police could not locate the apparently non-housebroken cat.

Report of an intoxicated person bothering people in a residence. Police attended and the homeowner said the subject of the complaint was now passed out on the lawn, however they were not. Patrols made and the person was not located.

Oct. 12

Report of an intoxicated person at a residence, however the caller did not leave their name or tell police where their residence is.

Oct. 13

Report of a theft and a fraud. Matter under investigation.

Police requested to assist EMS with a patient who had become combative. Police attended and it was all good.

Oct. 14

Report of a restaurant patron who had been abusive to staff over the past two months. The employee confronted the customer, who then began causing a disturbance. Police made patrols but the person had left.

Police were requested to assist in obtaining property back from another person. The caller later called back advising the matter sorted itself out.

Request for police to conduct a wellbeing check. Same completed and the beings were all well.

Report of a deteriorating friendship, as one person was asking for smokes from the other. The beggar took off.

Report of an intoxicated person banging on the door of a residence and not leaving when asked. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

Oct. 15

Report of a missing youth. The person was located a short time later and was safe.

Report of a custody dispute. Matter to be resolved by lawyers.

Report of a person banging on the door of a residence and not leaving when asked. Police attended but the person was gone.

Report of a break and enter to a residence. Matter under investigation.

Report of a person assaulting another on Main Street. Police made patrols and found two people in the area, both intoxicated, both with bruises. Both arrested and lodged.

Report of an unknown situation. Police attended and located the subject of complaint on scene. Checks were run and it showed the person had an outstanding warrant for their arrest and they were breaching court-ordered conditions. The person was arrested, lodged and later released to appear in court at a later date.

Oct. 16

Report of a possible break and enter. The homeowner thought they heard voices in their basement. Police attended and found no one in the basement nor did any evidence to suggest a break and enter take place.

Report of a missing person. Turns out they were just late for work.

Report of an unwanted person knocking on the door of a residence. Police attended and the homeowner advised it was actually a family member.

Report of a person attempting to report their medication as stolen, then later admitting they dropped their meds in the grass.

Report of a stolen computer from an unlocked residence.

Report of a person shoplifting a cart full of groceries.

Report of a person breaking a window at a residence.

Report of illegal drug use in a residence.

Oct. 17

Report of a person kicking someone’s door.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in a parking lot. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

Report of a person looking through mailboxes while carrying a photo in a frame.

Traffic stop conducted on a vehicle which resulted in the arrest of a person with an outstanding warrant.

Report of homeless people in a residence. Police attended and turns out it was a misunderstanding.

Report of a single-vehicle accident due to slippery roads. While police were attending, they were also involved in a collision. No serious injuries to report.

Report of an unwanted person in a residence however the person left while the caller was on the phone with police.
