May 3

Report of a disturbance at a residence. Police attended and learned that an unwanted guest had come but left after the homeowner yelled at them.

Two reports of an intoxicated male in a residence annoying his co-habitant. Police attended and found the subject of complaint walking about uptown. The person is bound by a court ordered curfew, therefore they were arrested and later released on a pending court date

May 4.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out on the steps of a business. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.

Report of a vehicle speeding through a residential neighbourhood. Police located the vehicle shortly after and warned the driver.

Report of loud music coming from a residence, however no noise was heard during police patrols.

May 5

Report of a group of intoxicated people under a parkade. One person was described as “very mean”. Police made patrols and found no intoxicated nor any mean people.

Report of person drinking with their friends in a yard and the friends kept coming in the house while another person was trying to clean.

Report of an ongoing problem of people breaking into an abandoned building. Police attended, cleared said building and found no one inside.

Report of an intoxicated person sleeping on the road. Police attended and found the person as described. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of loud music and partying coming from a residence. Police attended and found neither music nor an argument.

While on patrol, police located two very intoxicated people attempting to stand straight. Police arrested and lodged both under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act.

May 6

Report of a person coming home from work and finding an unwanted person within the residence. Police located the subject of complaint a short time later who was arrested. The person was later released on a pending future court date.

Report of threats being uttered online over a “meme” that was not well received. *insert heavy sigh*

Report of a motor vehicle collision. No one was injured and the involved parties exchanged information.

Report of a person passing out while intoxicated on their walk home. Police later found the subject of complaint had made it to their yard.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out on the street. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.

May 7

Report of a dispute between a couple in the midst of a breakup. Police provided information and later kept the peace while property was turned over.

Report of threats being uttered to another person. The threatener seemed to be using a “three strike” system.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out on the steps of a business. Police attended and found the person still on scene, who was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in front of a business. This person was also found still on scene and arrested and lodged.

Report of a person dangling from a bridge. Police attended and found on one in the area.

While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated person walking around. The person was too intoxicated to care for themselves therefore they were arrested and lodged.

While on patrol, police located two people drinking alcohol in the open on the street. They were both told they were under arrest and one of the people took off running. The other was taken into custody. The other person will be facing charges of resisting arrest.

During a traffic stop, police located a person with drugs in plain view in their vehicle. The person was arrested and the vehicle was searched, which yielded another quantity of suspected drugs along with a large amount of cash. The person was arrested and lodged and later released with a future court appearance.

Report of a person attending a residence after having been allegedly assaulted. Police attended and spoke to the victim who would not cooperate with the investigation.

May 8

Report of a rock being thrown through a person’s window. The homeowner did not know who it was nor did they have any suspects in mind at the time of the call.

Report of a truck being stolen. It was later learned the truck was due for maintenance and had been picked up by the garage.

Report of someone attempting to sell drugs to passers-by. Police were unable to locate the self-employed person.

Report of people fighting where a passer-by intervened. Police attended and could not locate either combatant.

Report of a gathering of people at a birthday party.

Report of a family dispute over a rental property. Police attended and mediated a resolution.

Report of a person possibly breaching a no-contact order, however the breach could not be substantiated.

Report of a people drinking near a local law office. Police attended and located four intoxicated people on scene who were all arrested and lodged.

Report of a person having stolen liquor from the liquor store. A second call was then received of the same suspect assaulting someone. The person was located, arrested and found to still be in possession of the stolen alcohol. The person was charged with numerous offences and remanded in custody.

Report of a family dispute between parent and child. Police referred the family to appropriate resources to deal with such problems.

May 9

Report of loud music and yelling from a residence. Police spoke to the homeowner who spoke to their children to keep the noise down.

Report of a person attending a workplace looking for a person despite being on conditions to have no contact with that person. Matter under investigation.

Report of an intoxicated person walking through a yard and leaving when the homeowner asked them too.

Report of an intoxicated sibling trying to get into their non-intoxicated sibling’s residence. Police attended and learned a family member agreed to look after the intoxicated person.

Report of intoxicated person having fallen into a ditch. Police attended and found the person still on scene who was arrested and lodged.

Report of theft of jewelry from a residence. Matter under investigation.

Report of intoxicated people, one of them complaining about their chest hurting. Police attended and located the intoxicated people still on scene. Both were arrested and lodged.
