A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, Sept. 26 to Sunday, Oct. 2, as provided by the RCMP:

Monday, Sept. 26

• Report of vehicle speeding and fishtailing around the corner on Green Street. Matter under investigation.

• Report of an unknown intoxicated male banging on the door at a Creighton Street residence. He was located and lodged in cells until sober.

• Report of an intoxicated female throwing items at a Tweedsmuir Street residence. Police attended and the female was taken into custody for the night.

Tuesday, Sept. 27

• Report of a speeding vehicle with loud exhaust on Manitoba Avenue. Matter under investigation. 

• Report of an intoxicated female sitting on the bench at the Duck Pond. Police attended and located the female asleep. She was taken to cells for the night.

• Report of an intoxicated female at Flin Flon General Hospital. Police located the female and took her to cells to sober up.

• Report of a suspicious person on Church Street hiding when vehicles passed. Police attended the area but were not able to locate anyone.

Wednesday, Sept. 28

• Report of an intoxicated male sleeping in the front yard of a South Hudson Street residence. He was relocated to cells for the night.

• Report of an assault at a Highway 10A business. An intoxicated male was located and was also found to be breaching court conditions. He will be charged accordingly.

• Report of an intoxicated male walking on South Main Street. Police were not able to locate him.

• Report of 10 people drinking on Main Street. Police attended but the group had departed and were not located.

• Report of an intoxicated male at Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended but the male had left the building and was not located.

• Report of an intoxicated male standing in the parking lot of a Main Street business. Police located the male and took him to cells to sober up.

• Report of an intoxicated male on Boam Street. He was outside yelling at neighbours. Police patrolled the area but he was not located.

• Report of an intoxicated male at Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended and learned it was the same male from the previous call on Boam Street. He was taken into custody for the night. 

• Report of a suspicious male on Bellevue Avenue. The male had parked his car and run up the rocks. Police located the male sitting on the rocks listening to music. As this was not illegal, the male was free to listen on.

Thursday, Sept. 29

• Report of a stolen bicycle from a residence on Parkway Boulevard. Matter under investigation.

• Report of a group of people yelling and banging on a door on Third Avenue. The group left prior to police arrival.

• Report of an intoxicated male behind a local Main Street business. Police located the male, who was breaching court conditions. He will be charged accordingly.

• Report of mischief to a Ross Street residence. Matter under investigation.

• Report of an assault at a local school. Police attended. Matter under investigation.

• Report of an assault at a Scarth Street residence. Police attended. Matter under investigation.

• Report of an intoxicated male bothering customers in the parking lot of a Highway 10A business. He was located and lodged in cells.

• Report of a dispute between a landlord and tenant on First Avenue.

• Report of an intoxicated female refusing to leave a South Hudson Street residence. Police attended and lodged the female until sober.

• Report of an intoxicated male laying on the road on Hill Street. Police attended and lodged him until sober.

Friday, Sept. 30

• Report of an intoxicated male and female hanging out at Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended and located the couple, who were provided separate suites to sober up for the evening. 

• Report of mischief to a vehicle on Boam Street. 

• Report of an intoxicated male at Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended and lodged the male until sober.

• Report of an intoxicated male bothering residents on South Main Street. He was located and provided a cell in which to sober up.

• Report of five male youths drinking behind a Main Street business. Police patrolled the area but were not able to locate anyone.

Saturday, Oct. 1

• Police patrolling Church Street located an intoxicated female sleeping on the sidewalk. She was taken to cells for the night.

• Police patrolling Main Street observed a male staggering in the street. He was taken into custody to sober up.

• Report of an assault at a Church Street residence. A male was arrested and later released when sober to appear in court.

• Report of a group of people, possibly teens, drinking behind a Main Street business. Police made patrols but did not locate anyone matching the description.

• While patrolling Main Street for the same teens, police observed an intoxicated male staggering in the middle of the road. He was taken to cells to sober up for the afternoon. 

• Report of a dog that was hit by a car on South Main Street. Police attended to assist the owner.

• Report of an incomplete 911 call to a residence on Scarth Street. Police attended and removed an intoxicated male, lodging him in cells for the night. 

• Report of a theft from a Main Street business. Matter under investigation. 

Sunday, Oct. 2

• Report of a loud party on Manitoba Avenue. Police attended and had the owner shut the party down for the night.

• Report of numerous 911 calls from a Ross Street residence. A male caller said he wanted an intoxicated female removed. Then a female caller said she did not want the intoxicated female removed. Police attended and spoke with both callers, who were intoxicated. The female in question was sober and decided to leave and was not sure what was going on. Police suggested the couple go to bed for the night.

• Report of a sudden death. Police assisted the medical examiners’ officer.

• Police located an intoxicated male laying on the hood of a police car on Hapnot Street. He was relocated to cells to sober up in the event the police car was needed for service. 

• Report of an assault with a weapon at a Hill Street residence. Police attended and took a male into custody. Matter under investigation.

• Report of a cat being hit by a car on Bellevue Avenue. Police attended but the cat was no longer in the roadway and was not located.
