A 67-year-old Flin Flon man is facing drug and weapons charges following an arrest last week.
While out on patrol on Jan. 13, members of Flin Flon RCMP stopped to speak with two males in a parking lot. During the conversation, officers saw one of the men had a container of bear mace in his jacket pocket. Police arrested the man for carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
Following the arrest, police searched the man and his truck, finding several small baggies of cocaine, several containers including pills and drug paraphernalia, five cell phones, a .22 rifle magazine and hundreds of dollars in cash.
The 67-year-old was then charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and three counts of fail to comply with conditions, among other charges.
