The Flin Flon Health Auxiliary this week donated $5,000 to the Northern Health Region Foundation in support of the new Flin Flon ER set for construction. Auxiliary members Margot Gray (left), Sheila Sproxton (second from right) and Geri Kostuchuk presented a cheque to foundation board member Brent Lethbridge. “We desperately need a modern and improved ER,” said Gray, who expressed hope the donation would spur more fundraising in the community. To date, $50,000 has been raised for the ER project, in addition to a $300,000 land donation.
