Repaving along Creighton Avenue and Highway 167 is now complete.

Provincial work crews with the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure have left the site, with only minor tweaks and repairs still required. Detours around work areas have been closed.

“I think they have a little bit of clean up to do, but our highway crew here, the local crew, will be taking care of that. The pavers and the plant are gone,” said Muench.

The work, which began in late September, was the last major work project set for Creighton this summer.

“We have a little bit more regular maintenance and projects that we would like to get done, but nothing really big or anything that was supposed to be a summer project. It’s stuff that we would like to get done before the snow is here to stay,” said Fidler.
