The Creighton Community School Kodiaks have won the Northern Saskatchewan six on six football championship.
The Kodiaks defeated the Cumberland House Islanders by a final score of 46-38.
The teams dueled in a neutral site game for the championship, at Prince Albert on Oct. 19.
Creighton out-dueled a Cumberland House team that defeated them in the 2018 final, and during their regular season matchup this year.
It was a back and forth affair. The Islanders jumped out to an early eight point lead, but the Kodiaks quickly tied it up, and a back and forth battle ensued before the Kodiaks took the lead for the final time late in the fourth quarter.
