Although hockey season is well over, the Whitney Forum came to life again last weekend as the City of Flin Flon hosted its annual Indoor Soccer Tournament.
In the senior division, the Dollar Store Dazzlers took gold by a score of 3-0 in their final game against Team 1.
“The Dazzlers went undefeated all weekend and did not allow a single goal,” said soccer parent Christine Williams.
There was plenty of excitement in the junior division as well. The Whitford Pavers won 3-1 in what Williams called “a thrilling overtime shoot out” against the FF Parks and Rec team.
All of the teams were coached by volunteer high school students.
“The kids look forward to being old enough to be the coach,” Williams said.
