According to several American media, the star ofEuphoria and of The Maid reportedly one of the names currently generating the most interest to play the pop princess in the highly anticipated memoir-inspired film The Woman in Me.
The film is based on The Woman in Methe autobiography published by Britney Spears in 2023 and which has become a true literary phenomenon. Universal has acquired the rights and the project is currently in development with Jon M. Chu, the director of Wickedbehind the camera, while Liz Meriwether, creator of the popular series New Girlwould work on the script.
Britney herself should have a say in how her story will be told on screen. After certain hesitations linked to the most painful chapters of his life, discussions around the feature film have become more positive in recent months.
Sydney Sweeney is the most seen to play this role, but others also try their luck. The names of Addison Rae, Bailee Madison and Kylie Schultz are also reportedly circulating in discussions surrounding the project.
