Life hasn’t been the same since Lauriane Siegwald won Double Occupancy Cyprus. The young woman made a “ life update » on social networks since she has really taken a step into the void: she is leaving the restaurant business and changing cities.
In a video where she prepares in front of the camera, Lauriane explains that she moved to Saint-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu and that she also left her job. This decision had been simmering for a while, then she made the move a little before the F1 weekend, a particularly busy time in the Montreal restaurant scene.
“I’ve wanted to leave the restaurant business for a long time, but it seems like I didn’t dare take the step. Lately I had put money aside to allow myself this luxury. »
Lauriane explains that she wants to concentrate on what she really wants, a more balanced and careful lifestyle, while catering involves a nocturnal and rather alcoholic lifestyle.
The winner ofDouble Occupancy however, has big moments of doubt. “Slowing down is super confronting,” she admits. But Laurianne discovers things she never imagined, like loving running, a sport she started two months ago.
Lauriane concludes by leaving the door open to a few catering events, but that she still wants to stick to her new pace to find out where it will take her.
