The Creighton Skate Park will soon have one more structure for skaters to enjoy. The pyramid structure, which could be in town by next weekend, will give all skaters the chance to learn some new moves. Unlike many structures, the pyramid doesn't favour a right side or a left. "It can be used for either left or right (footed athletes)," said Town of Creighton Recreation Director Channa Senyk. The $6,000 skating instrument measures 4' by 6' with a full rail on the side. The town is looking at having Telly Cameron, a skateboard artist in Saskatoon, come to the park to show skaters a few tricks. With the rail being open to all ages, Senyk encourages skaters to come out when Cameron is in town. May has been declared as Northern Physical Activity Month in Saskatchewan. As part of other activities planned for Creighton, Senyk hopes to see Cameron available within the month for a few lessons. It's "a bit of a celebration" to go along with the addition, said Senyk.
