A Tim Hortons kiosk is expected to open in Creighton’s Petro-Canada station by the end of 2017, the station’s owners announced August 1.

“We anticipate the Tim Hortons to be an extremely successful business in this market,” said Chief Peter Beatty of Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN), whose business arm owns the station.

PBCN anticipates the kiosk operation will create 12 jobs. Renovations to the station will be completed.

The Reminder first reported on the potential of the kiosk in March. PBCN, whose communities include Amisk Lake and Pelican Narrows, purchased the Petro-Canada station in 2010.
