Striking IAM Local 1848 workers voted 71 per cent in favour of accepting Hudbay's latest offer, ending the union's 17-week strike.
Membership turnout was 79 per cent to vote on what the union on its website called a strike settlement offer.
IAM president Rene Beauchamp confirmed pickets would be removed immediately.
Hudbay and the union issued a joint statement Thursday saying that a federal mediator had helped the sides reach a tentative agreement. Details of the offer were not known before this story was to go online.
