A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 27, as provided by the RCMP: Monday, Nov. 21 • Report of an intoxicated female causing trouble at an Aspen Grove residence.

A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 27, as provided by the RCMP:

Monday, Nov. 21

• Report of an intoxicated female causing trouble at an Aspen Grove residence. Police attended and met her outside. She was arrested and taken to cells to sober up.

• Report of a break and enter to a shed on Hapnot Street. Matter under investigation. 

• Report of a hit and run that occurred somewhere in Flin Flon.

• Report of a disturbance on 57 Memorial Cup Drive. A male who was on no-contact conditions approached a female he was not to contact and began yelling at her. The male was located and remanded into custody to appear before a judge.

• Report of a disturbance on Hill Street. A male was yelling at city workers saying he would be back with “people.” Police patrolled the area but he was not located. No further calls were received regarding this male.

Tuesday, Nov. 22

• Report of a vehicle almost hitting a pedestrian crossing Main Street who was not at a crosswalk. Police attended and spoke with the caller, who understood the crosswalk was only a short distance away and no charges would be laid against the driver.

• Report of an intoxicated male sleeping on the sidewalk on Main Street. Police attended but the male had been shooed away before they arrived.

• Report of an intoxicated female refusing to leave a Ross Street residence. Police attended and located the female outside. The female was on conditions not to consume alcohol. She was taken to cells and later released to appear in court.

• Report of a possible impaired driver in a yellow truck on Hill Street. Patrols of the area were made but no yellow truck was located.

• Report of an intoxicated male sleeping in the back lane off Hill Street. Police located the male and relocated him to a warm cell for the night.

• Report of a break and enter on Queen Street. Matter under investigation.

• Report of flashing lights inside a Green Street residence. Police attended and spoke with the caller, who said the lights would flash fast then slow. Police approached the home and could see that the lights in question were coming from the Christmas tree.

• Report of rowdy patrons at a local bar. Police attended and asked the group to leave.

Wednesday, Nov. 23

• Report of an assault on Ross Street. The caller advised her brother hit her. She did not want him charged, only spoken to. The brother was spoken to and apologized to his sister.

• Police patrolling Main Street observed a vehicle parked in the middle of the intersection at First Avenue. When police approached, the vehicle pulled up and over to the side of the road. The male driver was intoxicated. He provided samples of his breath that were twice the legal limit. In addition the male was on conditions not to consume alcohol. He was later released and will appear in court.

• Report of a fraud on Boam Street. Matter under investigation.

Thursday, Nov. 24

• Report of an intoxicated male sleeping in the bathroom of a Third Avenue business. Police attended and located the male, who was known to be on conditions not to consume alcohol. He was transported to a cell and later released to appear in court.

• Report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave the stairs of a Tweedsmuir Street residence. Police attended and took the male to cells for the night.

• Report of an alarm at a Main Street business. Police attended and the building was secure. An employee had set off the alarm.

Friday, Nov. 25

• Report of an SUV being stolen from Horace Avenue. The vehicle was located later in the day in Creighton. Matter under investigation.

• Report of a break and enter to a garage on Saskatchewan Avenue. Matter under investigation. 

• Report of an intoxicated male on South Hudson Street swinging a hockey stick and trying to get into vehicles. Police located the male resting against a vehicle. In addition, the male was known to be on conditions not to consume alcohol. He was taken to cells and later released to appear in court.

• Report of loud music coming from a Hill Street residence. Police attended and spoke with the homeowner, who agreed to turn the music down for the night.

• Report of mischief on Flinty’s Boardwalk. The caller could hear something being broken and a group of five youths was seen. Police patrolled the area but could not locate anything that had been broken.

• Report of an intoxicated male sleeping on Main Street. He was not dressed for the weather. He was taken and assessed at Flin Flon General Hospital before being lodged in cells for the night.

• Report of a possible domestic dispute on Hapnot Street. Police attended and spoke with the homeowners, who were having a party. Everything was fine.

Saturday, Nov. 26

• Police were called to a Hapnot Street residence regarding loud banging coming from outside. When police arrived, no one was inside the residence, but it appeared someone slipped on the icy steps and broke the railing.

• Police patrolling Angel Avenue observed an intoxicated male swaying, at times almost falling, trying to zip up his jacket. He just could not get it done up. The male was taken to cells to sober up for the night.

• Report of an intoxicated male at Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended and gave him a ride home to his wife.

• Report of an intoxicated male yelling and swearing on Main Street. The male had no weapons, only a bad attitude. Police patrolled the area but were unable to locate the male.

• Report of a disturbance at a South Hudson Street residence. Police attended, but the two females who were being rowdy were already gone.

• Report of a disturbance on Hapnot Street. The caller was having an argument with her neighbour. Police spoke with both involved and they agreed not to communicate for the rest of the night.

• Report of a fight at a Highway 10A business. Police attended, but the people involved had left the area.

Sunday, Nov. 27

• Police were flagged down by a homeowner on Queen Street. She reported that her garage was broken into and pickup truck stolen. The truck was later located. Matter under investigation.

• Police were called to Hillcrest Avenue for a dog that would not stop barking. Police attempted to speak with the owner, but no one would answer the door.

• Report of loud music coming from an Aspen Grove residence. Police attended and learned the caller was upset with a family member for not allowing others to watch the TV. The caller wanted her family member removed from the residence. Police informed her that would not happen because it is not illegal to watch TV in your home.
