A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Sunday, Oct. 30 to Sunday, Nov. 6, as provided by the RCMP:

Sunday, Oct. 30

• Police patrolling Third Avenue located an intoxicated male lying in the road. He was on conditions not to consume alcohol. He was taken to cells until sober and later released to appear in court. 

• Police called to assist EMS on Aspen Grove.

• Report of an intoxicated female at Flin Flon General Hospital wanting to speak with police. While police were attending, they received several more calls regarding the same female making suicidal threats. She was located on Hill Street, upset to see police.  She was arrested under the Mental Health Act and taken to Flin Flon General Hospital.

• Report of a disturbance at a Boam Street residence. Police attended and spoke with the property rep. She had an argument with her roommate, who went for a walk to cool off. 

• Report of an assault at a Ross Street residence. Police arrived and arrested a male and a female. In addition to assault, the male was charged with resisting arrest and remanded into custody to appear before a judge. The female was released to appear in court.

• Report of a domestic dispute at a Hill Street residence. The couple was separated for the night.

• Police were called to assist EMS with a female at a Hill Street residence. Police arrested her under the Mental Health Act and she was taken to Flin Flon General Hospital.

Monday, Oct. 31

• Report of a vehicle being driven at a high rate of speed on South Hudson Street. Matter under investigation.

• Report of two males drinking on Main Street. Police located the males, who were provided a cells for the afternoon and issued a fine for consuming liquor in a public place – $673.65 each.

• Police called to a Main Street business where the caller reported an intoxicated female was refusing to leave. Police located the female and provided her a ride to a family member’s house.

Tuesday, Nov. 1

• Report of mischief to a Hapnot Street residence. A female had kicked in the door and stole a lamp. The caller also reported he was assaulted by the female’s son later in the day. The caller later phoned back saying this was a misunderstanding and he had spoken with the female and male involved. The caller no longer wanted to proceed with charges.

• Report of a domestic assault on Hill Street. Police attended. Both individuals were issued paperwork to appear in court at a later date.

• Report of an intoxicated male in the lobby of a Main Street business. When police arrived, he was gone. While driving on Main Street, police located him now sleeping in another lobby. The male was provided a cell for the remainder of the night. 

• Report of a fight on Hill Street. When police arrived the fighters were gone. Patrols of the area were made but the pair was not located.

Wednesday, Nov. 2

• Police received an incomplete 911 call. The caller said he needed police and then hung up. The call was from a cell phone in the Ross Street area. Police made patrols of the area but did not locate anyone needing police assistance.

Thursday, Nov. 3

• Police called to a Main Street business for an alarm. The building was secure and the alarm was deemed false.

• Report of an intoxicated female on Main Street. Police located her and she was lodged in cells to sober up.

Friday, Nov. 4

• Report of suicidal threats at a Ross Street residence. 

• Report of an intoxicated male walking on Highway 10A. He was located and taken to cells to sober up.

• Report of an intoxicated male walking in the middle of South Hudson Street. He was located and taken to cells for the night.

• Report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave a Ross Street residence. Police attended and took him to cells.

Saturday, Nov. 5

• Report of loud music coming from a Main Street residence. Police attended and asked the property owner to turn it down.

• Report of a group of suspicious people on Church Street. While police were attending, the caller noticed something was on fire. When police arrived, they located a burnt beer case. No people were found in the area.

• Report of a theft from a Highway 10A business. Matter under investigation.

• Report of a domestic assault at a Boam Street residence. Matter under investigation.

• Report of an intoxicated male sleeping on Fourth Avenue. He was located and then relocated to a cell for the night.

• Report of an intoxicated male bothering people on Main Street. He was located and taken to cells.

• Report of an unknown intoxicated female refusing to leave a South Main Street residence. When the female heard police were on the way, she ran off and was not located.

Sunday, Nov. 6

• Police patrolling Main Street observed two females yelling at each other. One of the females was intoxicated and taken to cells for the night.

• Report of a missing person from Hill Street who had made suicidal threats. Police later located the female at a Hapnot Street residence. She was arrested under the Mental Health Act and taken to Flin Flon General Hospital.
