A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, Sept. 12 to Sunday, Sept. 18, as provided by the RCMP:

Monday, Sept. 12

• Report of a hit and-run involving two vehicles. A licence plate of the suspect vehicle was obtained. Matter under investigation.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

• Report of another hit-and run involving two vehicles. The licence plate of the suspect vehicle was obtained. Matter under investigation.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

• Report of a young child being seen running around with no shoes. Caller thought this was suspicious. No reports of missing children received and matter deemed non-suspicious. 

• While on patrol, police came across an intoxicated male passed out under a bush. He was covered in berries and police were concerned he might look tempting to any passing bears. He was lodged for his own safety.

Thursday, Sept. 15

• Report of a female yelling at another person’s child over behaviour they felt was not acceptable. Deemed not to be a police matter.

• Report of two intoxicated females fighting with one another. A second call was received of the younger female intoxicated walking down the street. The younger female was located, arrested and lodged.

• Report of a dispute in a local business in which a male was making accusations about another male in front of customers. The adult male was spoken to and advised this behaviour is unacceptable.

• Anonymous complaint of a group of kids with a gas tank trying to set a pole on fire. Police and the fire department attended and found nothing to support the claims of the anonymous tipster.

Friday, Sept. 16

• Report of an intoxicated female at Flin Flon General Hospital who had been cleared medically but was quite intoxicated.  The female was arrested and lodged due to her intoxication level.

• Report of an intoxicated female at a residence refusing to leave. Police attended, arrested the female and, through checks, learned she had an outstanding warrant. She was lodged in cells.

• Report of possible gun fire on the Trout Lake mine road. Police attended and did not see any evidence that any guns were fired.

Saturday, Sept. 17

• Report of a suspect(s) attempting to break into a local convenience store. Matter under investigation.

• Report of an intoxicated female in the laundry room of a property going through the laundry. It was later learned that it was a tenant just doing her laundry.

• Report of a male who kicked the glass door at a local convenience store, breaking the glass. Matter under investigation.

• Report of an intoxicated male attempting to break into his apartment after his girlfriend kicked him out. He was located, arrested and lodged.

• Police asked to assist the ambulance crew with an intoxicated male who was bleeding from the face. Police attended and found the injuries were a result of the male falling. He was treated and given a ride home.

• Report of youths throwing eggs at passing cars. Police attended but the suspects were not located.

Sunday, Sept. 18

• Police asked to assist Flin Flon General Hospital with a patient who was acting aggressive. The male was angry at his girlfriend, then smashed a glass on his own face, possibly to prove his devotion to her. He was treated and released.

• Report of two males being belligerent at a local bar. Police attended but did not locate the males.

• Report of a family dispute in which an intoxicated female was causing problems in a residence. Police attended and the female agreed to leave voluntarily with police.
